All new in my world, bjj, computers and team mates

So this is my first ‘Blog’  ever, it seem that the last thing the world needs is one more bjj blogger, normally i would agree but… in the last few weeks i have been reading other people’s entries such as my mate Big Stu’s BJJ Blog, Bjj IsaNinja and Meerkatsu’s blogs to be exact.

I have found that the process of writing a blog isn’t about the blog or opinions them selves it is about reflecting on yourself, your goals, your aims being able to reflect is one of the best tools a bjj fighter can add to his arsenal, if you can’t appreciate where you went wrong then how can you progress and grow.

Like most bjj fighters i have in the past found myself standing still whilst other around me move forward, it takes hard work and commitment to continually develop and improve. Recently i have felt that i have been on an upward track with my game improving, i havent learnt anything new as such, but i have refined my game – working on the details – getting the secure position – being patient.

Its ALL ABOUT THE TEAM, we have a good strong team at GB Sheffield lead by Brown Belt John Goldson, its the efforts of the team that drive me and all of us forward. The constant improvment of individuals spurs the rest of us to become better…

With out a good team we can not become great..

Quote of the Blog “Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.”
